Two modes of current protection and their implementation in a buck switching cell with input filter are presented. For one mode, (overloading or short circuit), the input current is maintained constant. For the other mode the output current is maintained constant. These two modes are satisfied with analog circuitry which highlights the effect of the current or voltage threshold stop on the operation of the regulation loops.
