Teachers and students from St. Mary's School, Medford, Oregon attended the astronomy research workshop at Pine Mountain Observatory. They learned the techniques and acquired proper instrumentation skills necessary to perform visual double star measurements of known and neglected double stars, analyze data, and write a paper on their findings for publication. Their intent is to take these skills back and incorporate them into science projects at St. Mary's.
