Interpretations of the rapid spectroscopic and photometric variability of OB stars are examined, focusing on observational data on two OB line-profile variables, 13 Zeta Oph and 45 Epsilon Per. The characteristics of these stars are presented, including travelling features, radial velocities, spectroscopic periods, and probable masses amd radii. The results are used to develop a model for OB line-profile variables.
