We present the results of long-slit spectroscopic observations of the stellar and extended gaseous components of the Seyfert galaxy NGC 5252. Kinematic profiles were obtained along both the galaxy apparent major and minor axes, and the symmetry axis of the extended emission line region. While the stellar rotation curve is consistent with the S0 morphological type, the very complex velocity field of the ionized gas points to highly peculiar non-circular motions.
