I review the methods used to discover obscured AGN. These are optical and near infrared spectroscopic searches for broad wings on permitted lines, analysis of the X-ray continuum distribution, and optical spectropolarimetry which can reveal the scattered component of the BLR and nonstellar continuum. New optical and X-ray observations of the narrow-line radio galaxy IC 5063, show it to be an obscured BLRG.
