The orbital elements of the spectroscopic binary 33 Tau, which has recently been recognized to be an ellipsoidal variable, are presented. The first, rough plot of the radial velocities revealed a nearly circular orbit. The approximately zero eccentricity is to be expected in a system in which the components interact so strongly as to produce an ellipsoidal distortion.
