We present continuum and [O III] lambda 5007 images of the nuclear region of the Seyfert 1 galaxy NGC 4151 obtained with the Planetary Camera on the Hubble Space Telescope. The continuum image was a 350 s exposure through filter F547M, and the [O III] image was a 1608 s exposure through F502N. The [O III] image shows a striking biconical structure with an opening angle on the plane of the sky of 75 deg +/- 5 deg at a Position Angle of 60 deg . The apex of the cone is coincident with the bright, unresolved central source. The extended narrow-line region visible at larger radii in ground-based images is completely contained within the cone defined by the near-nuclear emission-line regions. Maximum entropy deconvolution of the [O III] image shows the emission line regions to be composed of knotty, filamentary structures with lengths of up to 0.4'' (20 pc for a distance of 10 Mpc) rather than discrete clouds. We will discuss mechanisms for collimating the ionizing radiation field and their relation to unified models for Seyfert 1 and Seyfert 2 galaxies. This work is supported by NASA-GSFC grant NAG 5-1630 to the FOS team and NASA contract NAS 5-27000 to the Johns Hopkins University.
