UBVRI light curves of FD Com obtained in February 1981 are presented. The light curves and two large flares on this star are investigated, and all published light curves of this object are Fourier analyzed and discussed in terms of the current models of this star. An improved period of 2.39960 + or - 0.00015 days is also derived. It is pointed out that both the star-spot model and the excretion-disk model are flexible enough to account for the photometric variability. It is considered intriguing that the mean magnitudes in all wavelengths have been decreasing while the amplitude of variability is also decreasing. The expectation in a star-spot or disk model is that a decrease in the amount of variability would imply a decrease in the extent of the feature and an increase in the magnitude of the star system.
