The authors present spectroscopic observations of a faint optically-selected QSO with broad absorption features in its spectrum. The absorption troughs are extremely complex with both large- and small-scale structure. The low-velocity edge of the C IV trough is displaced blueward of the apparent emission line center by ⪆13,000 km s-1. The data provide evidence that the gas responsible for the broad absorption trough is moving relative to the gas responsible for the broad emission lines by up to 66,000 km s-1.
