Photometry of V2051 Oph with a time resolution of 5 s confirms the eclipsing binary nature of this system and provides an orbital period of 0.06242793 day. The eclipse profiles are highly variable, at times showing that the accretion disc is luminous in all parts and at other times that there is a sharply defined central region. The latter is shown to be the inner region of the disc itself and not the white dwarf. This same region is responsible for most of the flickering in the system.
