In recent years, it has been often claimed that high redshift QSO's associate with low redshift galaxies. The work of Seldner and Peebles (1979), who cross-correlated the position of Lick catalog galaxies with the positions of QSO's in the Burbridge, Crowne, and Smith (1978) catalog, provided apparent statistical support for these claims. However, doubt regarding the reality of Seldner and Peebles' result was expressed because of the possible presence of bias in the BCS catalog. The availability of unbiased QSO catalogs obtained from objective prism and UVX star surveys makes it now possible to conduct new tests of the claims of galaxy-QSO clustering. The present investigation is concerned with the results of cross-correlating these data sets with new galaxy surveys made using the Cosmos machine. The results of the investigation provide no support for the claims that excess numbers of QSO's are found around low redshift galaxies.
