A sample of 25 extragalactic radio sources is presented, the principal selection criterion being a spectrum which is steep at high radio frequencies but turns over in the vicinity of 1 GHz. The sample is intended to provide candidates for high redshift objects and also for the less common type of active galactic nuclei whose radio structures appear symmetric on milliarcsecond scale.
