The distribution of various types of supernovae in different morphological classes of galaxies is analyzed by using the updated Asiago Supernovae Catalogue and the Third Reference Catalogue. The Hubble constant with a small error is obtained when the peak luminosity-decline rate is taken into account, indicating that Type Ia supernovae in nearby galaxies are a better distance indicator. The tight correlation of high-z supernovae with cosmology is revealed.
