The edge-on spiral galaxies NGC 4244, 4565, and 5907 were observed with the Westerbork Synthesis Radio Telescope at 610 and 1410 MHz. No radio continuum emission from NGC 4244 was detected. The results for NGC 4565 and NGC 5907 are as follows: (1) They have a weak central source with a radio power of log P = 19.3 and ≤18.4 WHz-1 respectively at 1410 MHz. (2) They have a "face-on" brightness temperature of ≡0.4K at 1410 MHz. (3) "Thick" disks are found in both galaxies, with full width at half power ≤1.5 and 0.8 kpc, approximately constant along the major axis. (4) No emission is detected at large z-distances: for z ≥ 3 kpc the limits are ⪉0.02K or ⪉1% of disk emissivity. These results are compared with the radio continuum observation of other edge-on spiral galaxies and of the Galaxy.
