A suite of diffraction-limited observations of the central parsec taken with Camera 1 (11'' FOV) of NICMOS is presented. The search for Sgr A* at 1.6 microns is discussed, as well as an exploration of possible short-term variability that could be expected from an inhomogeneity in the accretion flow. High-resolution NICMOS Pa alpha and [FeII] images illustrate the complex morphology of the ionized gas in the region.
