We describe our study of the dynamical properties of coronal structures in the polar regions of the Sun using a sequence of 200 LASCO/C2 images. This sequence was designed to study polar outflows in general, in both polar plumes and in interplume regions. The results of our analyses show that such studies are complicated by the existence of foreground material, especially when high latitude streamer material rotates into the field of view. We also describe our analysis of the kinematic properties of several polar jets. The results suggest that polar jets might be used for studies of the outflow wind velocities in coronal holes at heights above several solar radii.
