Plans are currently underway to make the Goddard Geophysical and Astronomical Observatory a prototype of the next generation of geodetic stations with colocated VLBI, SLR, GPS and Doris instruments. The VLBI2010 concept—small, fast antennas observing over a broad bandwidth—are a key component of this. I discuss the role of VLBI2010 within context of a unified DORIS/GPS/SLR/VLBI site, comment on near term plans and possible future scenarios.
