Bidimensional spectrography of the central regions of NGC 1275 (Perseus A) has been performed using the integral field spectrograph TIGER at the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope (CFHT). These observations provide sub-arcsecond spatial resolution spectra and images through a filter including (N II), H-alpha and (S II) emission lines. The 3D data cube allows to distinguish several different sources of continuum and line emission: (1) young star clusters discovered by Holtzman et al. (1992) with the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) (2), the nucleus and the extended emission line region (3), the southeast part of the 8200 km/s high velocity component (whereas the galaxy stands at 5200 km/s). The main result of this paper is the discovery of double-peaked or asymmetric emission lines in the vicinity of several bright clusters. This emission originates from gas with the properties consistent with those of well-known filaments of NGC 1275 (kinematics, line ratios and widths). Arguments for continuous star formation in the filaments rather than a single burst associated with a merger are discussed.
