Thirty five x-ray sources were detected in a 6.4 ksec Rosat Position Sensitive Proportional Counter (PSPC) exposure pointed at the quasar PKS 0135-247. The field lies at high galactic latitude with galactic NH of 1.4 times 10 to the 20th power/sq cm. Twenty six serendipitous sources were detected with a significance greater than 5 sigma. An attempt was made to identify these sources with entries of optical, radio, and x-ray catalog and to search for optical counterparts in the ESO R and SRC J plates. X-ray spectral slopes and fx/fopt values were calculated from detected count rates and hardness ratios. Spectral fits of the five brightness sources could be obtained.
