The neighborhoods of nine bright Northern Hemisphere pulsars were
investigated with the WSRT radio telescope at 1400 and 4874 MHz in order
to identify reference sources for VLBI measurements of pulsars. A list
of detected reference sources and recommendations for using them in
future VLBI observations are given.
