New photoelectric photometry of UU Her made chiefly between 1990 and 1992 is presented. Period analysis of the 1984-1992 light curve supports the previous model of the star, i.e. UU Her is a double-mode variable, with periodically varying amplitudes. The amplitude variations are more or less sinusoidal. The double-mode nature of UU Her implies moderately high mass (14 Msun) for the star. Recent theoretical studies offer two possible explanations for the high galactic latitude of UU Her: (1) ejection from a binary system because of a supernova explosion, (2) star formation through phase transition at high galactic latitudes.
