The V/V(m) test is applied in the framework of the Hoyle-Narlikar (1972) conformal gravity framework to samples of quasars chosen at 178 MHz and 2700 MHz. Attention is given to the treatment of world models exhibiting unusual flux density behavior with redshift and it is shown that, for a uniform volume distribution of sources, V/V(m) is uniformly distributed even for these unusual world models. In addition, the distributions of V/V(m) for the different samples do not show a bias toward either high or low values, indicating a uniform distribution in the comoving volume of both steep- and flat-spectrum sources in the Hoyle-Narlikar model.
