Scientific paper

Analytical investigations of modified Brans-Dicke (MBD) cosmological models are presented. The models considered contain perfect fluid and obey either the MBD equations (Endo and Fukui, 1977; Bergmann, 1968; Waboner, 1970) or the MBD equations with the cosmological constant of Uehara and Kim (1982). Raychaudhuri-type equations are written and general theorems are proved for both types of models.
