The Brans-Dicke vacuum field equations for the metric tensor of a Bianchi type-VI(0) cosmological model (corresponding to an anisotropic universe with source-free electromagnetic field and perfect-fluid matter) are derived and solved exactly. The model is shown to have point-type singularity with a tendency to anisotropic expansion, and to have no analog in the theory of Einstein.
