Intermediate-band observations of differential blanketing in giants in Omega Cen are analyzed by the methods of Searle and Zinn (1978) to obtain the general abundance parameter S and thence Fe/H. In the sample observed, the range of Fe/H is -1.8 to -0.8, in accord with the spread in composition of the bulk of the RR Lyrae stars. The effects of backwarming by CO blanketing are investigated through study of /S, dereddened (B-V)/ relations. It is found that CO is correlated dichotomously with Fe/H for most clusters. M5 shows variable CO for a given Fe/H, while in Omega Cen, Fe correlates with CO monotonically. Conjectures regarding variable mass fuctions are made in this context
