New high sensitivity neutral hydrogen observations of the area of the south galactic pole reveal that the region is littered with anomalous velocity clouds, both positive and negative. It is suggested that all of these clouds are associated with the Magellanic Stream phenomenon. The stream then is characterized not only by the elongated ridge noticed by previous observers, but also by finer structure components separated both in space and velocity from the main ridge.
