We present new Keck:II OSIRIS laser guide star adaptive optic integral field K broadband spectroscopy of two UV luminous galaxies SDSSJ032845.99 and SDSSJ005527.46 at redshifts 0.142 and 0.167 respectively. UV luminous galaxies are a remarkable class of galaxies detected by GALEX in the near universe (z<0.3) having far-UV luminosities LFUV > 2.0 *1010 L&sun; and far-UV surface brightness > 108 L&sun; /kpc2. ACS photometry has revealed that these galaxies are each merging systems. We discuss the near-IR emission line properties and velocity distributions of these galaxies.
