We present numerical simulations of the formation of molecular clouds by transonic compressions in the Warm Neutral Medium (WNM) including self-gravity, parameterized heating and cooling, and magnetic fields, using the Adaptive Mesh Refinement code FLASH. We compare the results with non-magnetic simulations, concerning the efficiency of star formation, and the general evolution of the cloud. We also argue that regions in global collapse within molecular clouds exhibit properties similar to those of high-mass forming regions.
