We have identified two ultra dense HII (UDHII) Region candidates in the nearby galaxy
NGC 247 from 6 and 20 cm VLA images. The UDHII Region candidates were identified based on the inverted spectra at 20 and 6 cm. We will discuss the radio luminosity, the ionizing luminosity, and star formation rate that can be estimated for NGC 247 from these sources. Finally, we will compare the UDHII regions in NGC 247 with UDHII regions in M33, NGC 6946, and Heinze 2-10 and show that the UDHII regions in NGC 247 are most similar to those in M33.
