We analize the behaviour of the extended envelope of the star HR 5941
from 1904 to 2005. The star shows cyclical radial velocities and
spectral variations which cannot be explained by a pulsating model.
Based on observations taken in CASLEO and ESO observatories, we describe
the activity observed in the star during the last 15 years.
