We report UBVRI photometric data for the moderately old, very rich open cluster NGC 7789, taken with the WIYN 0.9-meter telescope. The data were analyzed using spatially variable psf-fitting techniques from Daophot II, after which (small) spatially-dependent aperture corrections were applied. Using the Hyades, Cardelli et al. extinction relations, and Yale-Yonsei isochrones, we find E(B-V)=0.24 ± (0.01 + sys), [Fe/H]=0.17 ± (0.05 + sys), be D=2163.7 pc ± (99.7 pc + sys), and age = 1.38 Grys ± (0.05 Gyrs + sys).
