We present time-resolved spectroscopy of the high inclination nova-like V592 Cas. We discuss events that appear in the H-alpha and HeI triplet lines which demonstrate the complex nature of the outflows as different episodes evolve with time and phase. We also present the first Spitzer Space Telescope photmetric observations of the system. The observed mid-infrared excess is discussed in the context of the optical outflow patterns and the nature of nova-like CVs.
