Observations taken during the PS1 commissioning phase have been examined and reduced. The goal is to begin the characterization of the differential astrometric accuracy of the chips and camera, and to understand the astrometric impact of the seeing and site. The First Light data were consistent with the astrometric accuracy being set by photon statistics and the relatively large image size resulting from the very preliminary optical alignment and collimation. Collections scheduled for 4Q07 are expected to provide data with better image quality, and to use a cadence optimized for differential astrometric analysis. The latest results will be presented and discussed.
