We have used the Wide Field Channel on the HST Advanced Camera for Surveys to measure stellar proper motions for tens of thousands of objects along a single sight-line in the Galactic Bulge. The first epoch consists of 110 orbits of two-filter photometry in 2004, the second a 2-orbit return to the same field in 2006. Despite only a two-year baseline, ten-sigma proper motion detections were achieved for thousands of objects, with proper motions measured out to the far side of the Bulge. The rich scientific dividend from this project will be introduced here. Key results:
(1) A kinematically-selected "pure-bulge" stellar sample has been extracted that is significantly larger and better-separated from the contaminating Disk than in previous studies.
(2) The stellar circular speed curve of the Milky Way has been constrained from proper motions alone, which can be compared and contrasted with that obtained from recent radial velocity surveys.
(3) We have detected a significant population of Blue Straggler candidates in the Bulge, seven of which show significant sinusoidal photometric variability. To our knowledge, this is the first detection of any Blue Stragglers in the Bulge.
(4) We have been able to place loose kinematic constraints on the kinematic association of the sixteen SWEEPS eclipsing extrasolar planet candidates from the Deep epoch, allowing us to constrain the fraction of stars with planets in the Disk vs Bulge.
