We present initial results from the Spitzer Legacy Project GLIMPSE 3D, a program to extend Spitzer/IRAC coverage of the Galactic plane from the midplane up to Galactic latitudes of |b|=4 degrees in the inner Galaxy (l? degrees). We present mid-infrared starcount maps of the Galactic disk and bulge and characterize the vertical stellar scaleheight as a function of longitude. We discuss how this data will be useful for characterzing the secular evolution of the stellar bar(s) of the Galaxy.
