A survey designed to constrain the density of sub-km size Kuiper Belt objects via stellar occultations was carried out with the MMT 6.5 meter telescope and Megacam. For our scientific goal high (sub-second) cadence observations are necessary. Millisecond rate observations are possible with Megacam, using the mosaic in continuous read-out mode, while the system tracks as for conventional observing.
The observations revealed high frequency oscillations of the system. We describe our high rate observation technique, analyze these modes and discuss their effect on image quality for regular exposures.
