We present X-ray and infrared observations of the X-ray source CXOGC J174536.1-2856 (hereafter, Edd-1). Previous observations suggest that Edd-1 may be an accreting binary or a colliding wind binary containing a massive star. Based on the Chandra and XMM-Newton light curve, we have found an apparent 189 ± 6 day periodicity with better than 99.997% confidence. If the change in X-ray flux is interpreted as an X-ray eclipse associated with an orbital period, then Edd-1 is likely a high-mass X-ray binary.
