The equations of relative motion for a pair of nonrotating spherically symmetric bodies are derived and solved in the (v/c)5 approximation, where the reaction force representing braking by gravitational radiation first appears. The force is determined explicitly, and both periodic and secular corrections to the Keplerian orbital elements are obtained. The invariant distance l between the bodies will undergo a secular decrease.
