Using spectrograms obtained on the diffraction spectrograph with image tube in the primary focus of the 6-m telescope the velocity field in the central region of the Mark 617 galaxy was investigated. Noncircular motions of gas found in the narrow interval of position angles of 70°-90° are explained by gas ejection from the nucleus along the small axis of the galaxy. A possible existence of large-scale radial motions of gas is noted.
