Interpretive results are presented of observations of galactic (C-13)O over the region b = 0 deg, 1 = 28 deg -40 deg, at 3 arcmin spacings of the 11-m telescope antenna pattern. It is determined that: (1) the size distribution of molecular clouds is characterized by moments where the mean of D is not greater than 25 pc, the mean of D-squared exp 1/2 is not greater that 27 pc, and the mean of D-cubed exp 1/3 is not greater than 29 pc; (2) the smallest mean density of hydrogen molecules derived for the region where R equals approximately 5 kpc, consistent with available constraints, is about 2.5/cu cm; (3) radial abundance variations of the (C-13)O emissivity follows established (C-12)O behavior, but with enhancements at R of about 9-10 kpc and 7-8 kpc; and (4) the galactic kinematics of the dense-centered molecular clouds are identical to those found for H I.
