Calculations are presented for the redshift in certain inhomogeneous cosmological models. The method used is based on the paper by Kristian and Sachs (1966). The null geodesic equations are satisfied by an a priori solution using an inductive method. It is found that the results for the inhomogeneous models are in identical agreement with the result for the Friedmann model to first and second order over an expansion in r(A), where r(A) is the corrected luminosity distance. The anisotropic differences for the redshift are seen to arise in our model only to third order in r(A).
