A photometric study in the RGU system, down to a limiting magnitude of 16.3 in G, is presented for a galactic center field of 0.103 sq deg with 1649 stars in the Large Sagittarius Cloud (Sgr III). After determining the interstellar reddening function, star group density functions and luminosity functions, it is found that the reddening is caused by a single cloud with distance of about 700 pc. Nearly all late-type giants brighter than 14.5 mag in G were found to be on the left side of the main-sequence, forming a narrow and large branch, while the fainter late-type giants were placed mainly on the main-sequence and on its right side, forming an extended complex. The density functions of the main-sequence stars show maxima within the limit of completeness.
