Photon production in the channeled blast wave model of particle acceleration in AGN is investigated under the aspect of the plasma temperature. The temporal evolution of the temperature in the jet plasma is analyzed. The resulting synchrotron emission of photons is compared with temperature-independent calculations. Preliminary results are presented.
