X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy studies of Venus rocks carried out on the Venera-13 and Venera-14 probes are considered. Particular attention is given to the method for determining rock composition, the preflight preparation of the analysis equipment, the method for processing the X-ray fluorescence spectra, and the analysis of spectra measured on the Venus surface. Results on rock composition are discussed in detail.
