The paper presents an analysis of Venera-13, 14 data regarding spectra at the 0.72, 0.82, 0.95, and 1.13 micron H2O absorption bands in the Venusian atmosphere. Attention is given to models of vertical profiles of the H2O mixture ratio for calculating synthetic spectra, a comparison of synthetic spectra with measured spectra, and preliminary estimates of the H2O mixture ratio obtained on the basis of an analysis of optical spectra.
