The authors present 2.7 GHz flux density and linear polarization
measurements of the BL Lacertae type quasi-stellar object 1308+326. Both
the linear polarization and total flux density variations observed
during 1977-1981 are consistent with a change in opacity of an
incoherent synchrotron component.
