Photometric data for the early-type variable star HD 129929 are presented. Light curves for 22 nights are shown together with the variations in the color indices (U-B) and (B-V). Three periods are present in the data: 0.154776 d, 0.143268 d, and 0.155062 d. The color indices place the star at the low luminosity edge of the instability strip of the beta Cephei stars in the HR diagram. The relative amplitudes of color and light variations and their implications for the identification of the pulsation modes are discussed. There is some evidence that variations with the same periods as the present periods were absent some years ago. Finally, the distance of HD 129929 to the galactic plane is unusually high for an early-type star.
