We present a new three dimensional radiation hydrodynamics code called HERACLES. It solves the two first moments equations with the M1 closure relation. We performed a few tests which results show that HERACLES is accurate in all the regimes, in particular both in the diffusion and in the transport limit. It could then be dedicated to a lot of physical situations: radiative shocks, stellar atmospheres, fragmentation and formation of dense cores in the interstellar medium, protoplanetary discs, etc.
