Understanding the molecular hydrogen formation on ice needs experimental studies that take in account the complete process including atoms adsorption and diffusion, molecular formation and desorption. We present results on adsorption and desorption of molecular hydrogen on porous ASW by Thermally Programmed Desorption (TPD) experiments for various coverage. Co-adsorption of H2 and D2 have also been studied. A simple model is proposed for the interpretation of these desorption curves.
