The paper presents Venera 15 and 16 radio-occultation data on the Venus
atmosphere for nine regions of the northern polar region. The study
covers atmospheric heights of 40-90 km in the 89-81 deg latitude region
at solar zenith angles of 81-95 deg. Height dependences of temperature,
vertical temperature gradients, pressure, and density are presented.
